The world is changing. Different technologies have made living our lives different. Instead of using snail mail, we now communicate with people from places far and near by texting them or sending them electronic mails. Different appliances like televisions and refrigerators are given makeovers to better suit the times.
They are now more updated and more complicated but they also have more functions. Back then, man landing on the moon was huge news. Now, it is only common to hear stories how men are trying to explore other planets. Before, robots were only heard of in fictional stories. Now, we are no longer surprised when there are new creations with artificial intelligence. Some pets even look like our favorite pets or animals. They can also be our assistants. Despite the technological advancements the world is seeing and experiencing right now, there are still things that we retain up to now. Reflexology is one of them.

Reflexology is the process of applying pressure to the feet, hands and head to promote health and wellness in the human body or certain parts of it. Reflexology has been practiced for many years now. Some people may call it an art. Some people may call it science. Some people may even call it a bogus practice. But there are people who have come out to say that reflexology has done wonders in their bodies. Some of the benefits of reflexology that these people claim are: Reflexology has relaxing features; it helps us control our feelings; it can improve the process of circulation in the body; it can help us get through insomnia or bad sleeping habits; and finally, reflexology can help us focus more.

In the practice of reflexology, there is such a thing as reflexology diagram. A reflexology diagram is a chart with a drawing of points in the feet where you can put pressure to heal other parts of the body. The drawing is very colorful as these colors are used in legend to determine the body parts connected to the feet. Those who practice reflexology use the reflexology diagram to guide them in treating their patients.

Some of the parts in the body that are focused on in the drawing in the reflexology diagram are: the top of the head, the eyes, the ears, the heart, the spine and vertebrae, the liver, the kidneys, the sciatic area, the lymph drainage, the spleen, the shoulder, the lungs and bronchi, the pancreas, the uterus, the waist, the ovary or the testicles, the prostate, the breast, the fallopian tube and the tonsils.

You yourself can make your own simple reflexology diagram. You will simply just have to illustrate a pair of feet. You need to just mark the points in the feet and mark them will circles or dots, and patches. Color them and put a numbered sequence of the body parts connected to the feet. You now have your own reflexology diagram.

It is easy to understand and create a reflexology diagram. The practice of reflexology has helped so many people throughout the years. These are the reasons why reflexology has stood the test of time.
